The film takes place entirely within the confines of Istanbul’s iconic traffic. It follows Turkish taxi drivers as they navigate the city, specifically focusing on the transit over the bridges that connect Europe and Asia.
Rather than a broad history of the city, the “story” is told through the eyes of these drivers. It captures their personal anecdotes, their frustrations with the city’s chaotic energy, and their unique perspectives on the changing landscape of Istanbul. The bridge serves as both a literal setting and a metaphor for the constant state of transition in their lives and the city itself.
